Romans 8:11 –The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
2 Peter 1:2-4 – Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.
Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
Because Easter power is available, you can…
1. TRUST God, even when life isn’t GOOD.
…who called us by His own glory and goodness.

2.BECOME who God designed you to be.
…you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world…
2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore, whoever is in Christ is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
3.ACCOMPLISH what God put in front of and ahead of you.
God has given us everything we need for life and godliness…
Grace and peace be yours in abundance…

The Apostle Peter is writing to Christians who were experiencing tremendous change—most of which was not of their own making—and much of it was difficult. Yet, Peter begins by reminding them about how good they have it in Christ. Highlight the words or statements that underscore that.
Review the three statements from this week’s message. Is there one that stands out more to you? If so, why?
The most common tool the devil uses against us is the lies he convinces us to believe. What lie(s) do you need to overwrite with God’s truth? Share your thoughts.
BRINGING IT HOME: You are not alone to become and do all God has for you. God’s power is working in you and for you. Let this build greater faith in you for all that is ahead.
