Think Higher

Isaiah 54:2 – Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.

1.  Start with a bigger picture of GOD.

Don’t limit your actions to what you KNOW now. Have faith in the God who will give you what you NEED to do and what He wants you to do.

2.  Fully embrace that God-given DREAMS are better.    

Go beyond goal-setting, and pray for some God-given DREAMS that take your faith to a new level.

Isaiah 55:8-9 – For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:1-3 – “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live.

3.  Think more WE and less ME.

Matthew 6:33 – But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

You were sovereignly chosen to be part of a church-team
that is also called to do bigger things.

Be bolder about your role in our church.

Let’s be bolder in our personal INFLUENCE for other’s sake.

Move past: “What’s in it for me?”

Ask: “Who can I influence and bring?”

Let’s be bolder by asking God to give us bigger SERVING and GIVING dreams.

Move past safe and predictable, and on to missional and miraculous.

Acts 4:29 – And now, Lord, consider their threats, and enable Your servants to speak Your word with complete boldness.
